@James

Thanks for your comments and I commiserate for you having to use IE6 on your works machine!

Good points that you need an Internet connection to utilize GTDInbox and I will be sure to cover aspects like these in future reviews.

Hopefully some more reviews coming this week.

Thanks.

If I understand it correctly GTDInbox requires one to be logged into gmail via firefox?

This is problematic for me for a number of reasons

1) It requires a net connection, making it difficult to work on my to-dos when away from my desk or a reliable public wi-fi signal. This would make a morning commute unproductive for example.

2) The requirement for firefox means I can't use my corporate laptop (IE6 only. Ugh.) to handle my to-do list

3) The need for a gmail account also makes interfacing with my corporate email a problem. I can forward everything if required, but this would have to be accessed via another machine because of point 2.

Whilst I agree that GTDinbox seems extremely well thought-out and looks very nice it misses the requirements for a number of users.

I love the idea of reviews of GTD tools and I am looking forward to seeing more but it might be useful if you were to consider different user profiles or comment on the limitations of any given tool as well.
