It would have been much better if “paid” was replaced with “free”. People like free things

@Andrew, nice post. Though I would add to the list some other to-do apps as well. It seems to me that there are many of them that are worth using. E.g. Zenbe list, EasyTask, Task2Gather.

@Jared Goralnick: Hi Jared, yes, it is a good title for a post. The "Top Ten" type of posts always seem to do great. Totally agree about the use of Productivity. I mean, is a spell checking app really a Productivity app? Have a great weekend..

Couple things:

1. I think this title will get you some traffic .
2. It’s always amused me what’s garnered the label “productivity.” It’s as if anything that’s not a game these days deserves then label. But then again, isn’t technology supposed to be all about saving time?

It’s tough to use that word because now productivity (in our community) is kind of meta–it’s as if most applications save you time, but productivity applications save you time at saving time. Or, they’re all about organizing.

I don’t know what apps belong on this list as I’m not an iPhone user, but just wanted to add some food for thought
