Liking this application- just (finally) bought my first Mac, and I’m trying to figure out how to implement productivity stuff on it. Once RTM gives me a desktop app, it’s all over, but this looks really solid. Thanks!

Just covered in on my blog too. I think it is really nice. I love the timer feature and the ability to drag mail from mail.app directly into The Hit List. I did a little comparison to Things and Omnifocus on site but still liking Things (for now).

The Hit List is the best of all of them for the Mac, possibly the best of all across all platforms. I love it. I got it as an after thought freebie in the MacHeist3 bundle, and wasn’t even going to bother using it because I had just bought Things for both my Macs, AND my iPhone. I was a things believer. Um, but ah, yeah, The Hit List is amazing. It has extremely powerful keystroke tools, you barely ever need your mouse. The timer feature I found by accident this morning, and couldn’t believe it, how much did they pack into this?

This is what is better than the others:
    - Excellent Repeatable tasks (include sub-tasks)
    - Start/Due dates can be entered in English (ie Monday, Tuesday, Tomorrow, T (for today) etc.)
    - Powerful Keystrokes for creating, filling-out, filing and ordering tasks (way more robust than the others)
    - Tabbed window
    - Moves completed tasks to a new list
    - Shows canceled tasks
    - Task timer
I could go on and on…

Basically I think the folks at Potion Factory made a smart move by making sure that V1 of THL was exactly what they wanted before moving on to iPhone development.

I love it. I have been looking for a good GTD App for over 5 months now — and this one hit the spot. Great job.
