I set up DidIGetThingsDone.com in January 2007 as a way for me to share what I know about the ever changing topics of productivity, motivation, and self development. I started the blog at the same time as I started with the Getting Things Done book from David Allen. A lot of the early posts were based upon my interpretation of the book and how I implemented my own version of the GTD Methodology.
My Bold Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) is to become the number one blog for productivity, motivation, and self development. I am a keen believer in setting goals as you cannot hit a target you do not have.

I’ve read tons of GTD stuff, but not watched any videos about it. Cool to see how all the folders and stuff works, and not just read and check diagrams! I’ve organized stuff online and digitally. Looking at how Brent works around I think I’ll be incorporating some of the ideas into my office. Whiteboard is a must and I loved the project papers on the wall too

Since then, I’ve migrated from the whiteboard to a clipboard, so I can carry my lists around with me at home. Works better; I carry the clipboard into the kitchen, out into the garden, etc.
