i found a great article from DKeener.com which shows you some ways of using your smartphone, pocket PC or Palm to manage your tasks.
Prior to 2001, I used the Franklin Covey (FC) time management methods for years. I started with a paper-based implementation, but began blending in the use of a PDA in about 1999. I studied Covey's books and went to a couple of his seminars, and was pleased with the life-management improvements I was able to make using his system. Then, in February 2001, I read David Allen's Getting Things Done (GTD) book and immediately began implementing GTD on my PDA. I liked it because it was a fresh approach and I had gotten a bit stale in my implementation of the FC approach.
Introducing the Hipster Shuffle
I found this link via 43Folders.com and it provides a little light entertainment. Some guys have taken the Hipster PDA concept from Merlin Mann and added the iPod Shuffle.
Book Review – Great Quotes from Zig Ziglar – Motivation and Success
I had bought this book quite a while back and I must admit that I had not really looked at it. I have been away for the weekend and as always, I grabbed a few books I had not yet looked at and this was one of my choices.
This book is from Successories, the company responsible for the corporate motivation posters we all know and love. It is only a short book, 94 pages and is full of 250 quotes from Zig Ziglar and his friends.
WordPress Plugin – Admin Tiger
I have just added the Admin Tiger plugin for WordPress 2.0 from orderedlist.com
This is a fantastic WordPress plugin that vastly improves the look and feel of the WordPress Administration pages.
The current default WordPress administration area is functional, but I felt it could be improved. For several reasons, I didn’t want to touch the XHTML framework of the admin, but instead relied on the power of CSS2 to manipulate the presentation. The whole package has been wrapped up into a single plugin. Just install and activate. The new design will be immediately visible.

PagePacker – Mac GTD Application
I have just seen that Lifehacker have posted information about a new GTD application called PagePacker.
PagePacker is a freeware Mac only application that allows you to create mini books from your work. You can page an 8 page booklet on a single shet of letter or A4 paper. Very handy for you GTD'ers.
Open Loops, Managing Action, and Getting Things Done
Well, Chapter One is through. definitely food for thought!
One of the most valuable thoughts that i will take away from this chapter is the one about Open Loops. In the other time management and productivity books I have read, I have never seen mention of this principle. Other books I have read are all normally about creating a "system" that you can work to so that you keep track of all your tasks, with the all either nicely color coded or prioritized into As, Bs, and Cs. The As get done first followed by the Bs, and Cs.
GTD Application – Tracks
Just found a good looking GTD application via another Jackens Blog. I must admit that it looks a good app and is right up to date, created in Ruby.
Even though I am only starting with the GTD book and methodology, I will provide information about all GTD applications that I come across. As soon as I have finished the book, I will be reviewing all of these pieces of software as I find one that I can use on my 17" MacBook Pro.
