Getting Things Done GTD with Personal Development and Motivation for Success Making You More Productive

Well, the Blog has been running for three days now and I am averaging around 70 visitors per day. Over the next week I am going to focus on improving the way the blog operates.

I have been given an eBook by Joel Comm that covers Blog optimization so I will be introducing a lot of the concepts that Joel mentions in the book that appears upon first reading to be very good. As always, if anybody reading this has any comments on my Blog, or advice that can give, I would be very grateful for comments sharing their information.

Well, I had just returned from training and did not have much time but I was eager to read at least some of the book so that I could make a start reviewing it, and hopefully learning something from the "powers within".

The book is split into three parts. Part 1 is titled "The Art of Getting Things Done", and it consists of three chapters. The first chapter is titled "A New Practice for a New Reality".

Well, after a night of trying different themes, I decided on the classic Kubric 2 theme along with some custom CSS and images. I have a cool application on my Mac called CSS Edit. This makes CSS editing a dream.

Well, I promised you some book reviews. The last book I read, on a train from Boston to New York, was "Who Moved my Cheese" by Spencer Johnson. I have owned this book for two years and never read it. The timing was perfect so I read it. Wow, great story, great parody, and a MUST read for anybody who is scared of change, and this is most of us.

I have built up a bit of knowledge of Blogging by creating three blogs already. These are DDoS Info, WII Injury, and Mac Beginners. All of these are on TypePad. I have also played with Blogger for another personal Blog.

This blog is using WordPress. I am new to WordPress but look forward to using a system that provides more functionality as I found TypePad to be extremely restrictive.

Well, the blog is running. I have got a few blogs running with TypePad and I thought it was time to start with WordPress. WordPress is free, TypePad costs me money every month. I am also amazed by the shocking stats available out of the box with TypePad. So now, www.didigetthingsdone.com is running from one of my own hosting servers and I can see the full stats.

Time to learn WordPress!
