Thinking Rock – GTD Application

Just seen a post about this application at LifeHacker.

Thinking Rock is a cross platform GTD Application for collecting and processing your thoughts using the GTD Methodology.

Thinking Rock allows you to collect your thoughts and process them into actions, projects, information or future possibilities. Actions can be done by you, delegated to someone else or scheduled for a particular date. Projects can be organised with ordered actions and sub-projects. You can review all of your actions, projects and other information quickly and easily to see what you need to do or to choose what you want to do at a particular time.

I am going to check it out and then add it to my review list for this site.

Good program, but it doesn’t appear to hang as nicely as (which is a web 2.0 app accessible anywhere that i can get online…to quote borat “very nice). Vitalist, seems quicker and the sort function a bit more tidy. Don’t know if all will agree. (for the record, the ad they have on our site was given to them for free because the program saved our life…we get NO compensation from them).

Ummm…great design, but I had tons of errors. It was like a beta release for me. Insanely buggy. Anyone else get lots of java errors using this?

I’ve been using Thinking Rock as of January 2010, and I haven’t experienced any bugs. I’m quite pleased with the software, and I like that it’s cross-platform, so I can run it on Linux or Windows depending on what I’m working on.

Been running for about two years, no Java errors ever.

Using is on cross-platform – my data is in Dropbox – so am happy on Mac to PC….
