I have mentioned in a few posts that I have been working on a new theme for this site and also looking to update the content to broaden the sites horizons.
Well, I am glad to say that the new design is imminent and hopefully will be on the site in the next couple of days.
I have used Unique Blog Designs to carve me a custom theme to facilitate my new launch.
Got a few things planned for the new site that should widen its appeal.
Over the next few days the format and layout may go a bit strange whilst we iron out any issues.

Nice colors, a lot of “light” (the previous version was a bit “dark”). Please note that the “about me” is still latin. Looking forward to the finalized version and more informative posts.

Thanks for the comments. I have a checklist of things to finish but have been a bit under the weather this weekend with some virus and I also thought the latin version of About Me was better 😉

I like the new design overall. Just a personal thing, but I would compress the bit between the menu bar and the first headline (the space with the Twitter, Facebook, etc links) – squash it a bit, so that more of your content is “above the fold” when someone first views the page.

Thanks for your comment. It does take up some screen real-estate but I like the UBD style of having that data up there. I guess I will have to listen to more comments and then give my users and readers what they want.
